Chicken saddles are made to protect your hen's back from a roosters nails and talons. With overmating sometimes lead to serious and sometimes life threatening damage. Saddles are made to allow feather growth without having to seperate her from the flock. Saddles can be used during a molt in case of excessive pecking. Made with cotton fabric and elastic for an easy fit. Elastic is sewn between the layers of fabric to eliminate the chance of your hen losing her saddle when a rooster jumps on her back.
